Sidscape is owned and operated by Sidney Vaught of Roanoke, VA.

Sidney Vaught has been singing in the Roanoke area for over forty-five years and has performed in many concerts, plays and churches in that time.

He started learning to work with digital audio workstations (DAW) in 1999 when he picked up Cakewalk's version of Music Creator at his local Best Buy store.  After many years of learning how to use the tools of the trade, gradually upgrading to a top of the line DAW and then turning part of his house into a recording studio, Sid decided to start releasing CD's commercially.

In 2009, Sid recorded a free release of a mini (EP) album titled "A Christmas Gift" where he recorded five tracks of Holiday music and gave them away to his friends and supporters.  This album was actually a production test so Sid could go through the paces of producing a product, acquiring mechanical licenses and working with a manufacturer.  The people who received "A Christmas Gift" were largely in Virginia but it was also sent to various people throughout the United States.

On February 1, 2012, the City of Roanoke, VA granted Sidney Vaught a business license to conduct business as a recording studio, music producer and music label as well as offering other professional services.

Sid's first full length album, "Debut of a Lifetime", was released on September 1, 2013.
